Digital camera comes in two forms, photographic and video

A digital photography camera takes digital photo picture and a digital video camera records digital videos, in common they all capture images. The use of a digital camera makes it possible to adjust and enhance these images.

The importance of a digital camera is that it gives you the opportunity that a conventional camera will not give you. With conventional cameras you can't adjust your image after it has been captured but with a digital camera you can adjust your image before and after it's been captured.

A digital image is coded in computer code of 0s and 1s, enabling the image to be readable by a computer. Using a computer, that image can be edited to whatever you could imagine, unlike conventional camera image that cannot be edited by computer because its image is not readable because it's not digital but hard copy only. With this in mind everyone is now using digital cameras and there is no reason you shouldn't be using one too.
